A cool funicular that will take you to the a small dock on the lower part, where you will be able to jump in the lake and continue to admire the scenery. To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

Très belle chambre et salle de bain, prestations haut de gamme. Le personnel est adorable,aux petits soins,mention spéciale au capitan et à la réceptionniste. La tranquillité,la végétation,la vue de la salle de réception ,la cuisine.

The serenity, the views, the staff, the food, the wildlife, the Mariolas (!!!!). Not to mention the tastefully done casitas with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in.

I have an autistic boy who enjoys seeing the sunset at Peten Itza Lake. I'm really thankful to all the staff who made my son's dream of having a campfire near the lake while enjoying the sunset. It has a welcoming vibe, plenty of comfortable places to chill and socialize with fellow travelers, the staff is friendly and helpful. We booked a private room, which was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

The room had 3 queen beds and was very spacious. We fit my spouse, 2 daughters and father with plenty of room and did not feel crowded at all. The view from the balcony was very pretty. The included breakfast (for the 3 adults only) was delicious and traditional. They offered a shuttle to the airport and even though we had to get there a couple hours earlier, we appreciated the free ride and the driver was great! They also had a bar with great views and the entire hotel was very clean. If we are lucky to return to this area again, we will definitely stay here.
