Fuji Speedway Hotel, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt offers 5-star accommodation with an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike hire is available at the accommodation. We arrived at the hotel on the complimentary shuttle bus from Gotemba which was super easy to arrange over email. We had a Fuji view from our room which stunning when it wasn't raining. The onsen was perfect especially the outdoor area that looks over Fiji. The staff were so attentive and professional and helped with my golf booking at the club round the corner. The breakfast was amazing and the Japanese restaurant, Robata Oyama, was stunning and one of the best dining experiences I've had.

All units are fitted with air conditioning, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a hot tub, slippers and a desk. There is a private bathroom with bath in all units, along with a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units have a dressing room. Amazing value and had everything we needed. The access to the BBQs was the best part - we bought some Hida beef from the local butcher to cook on the outdoor BBQ and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Would book this place again over a hotel any day

The villa with a balcony and mountain views has 3 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower. Towels and bed linen are available in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We, a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 1 and 4, had an amazing time at Ori Ori house. We loved that it had 2 couches, tv with netflix, fridge with some condiments, dish washer, washing machine and dryer and most of all a big tub that could fit 3 of us. The sheets were so soft :) We visited Bell shopping mall by foot, post office is nearby, Watahan supermarket 13 minutes, close to ropeway, about 14 minutes by foot. All in all we recommend it! We stayed 7 nights and it was just perfect for us :) Great beds! Lots of futon to play with as well and blankets for on the couch at night. And very spacious.

Set in Yamanakako in the Yamanashi region, Hanamizuki offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. This 2-star ryokan offers a garden. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. I had an amazing stay at this ryokan! Just like others have mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious, and I was really surprised by the generous portions of authentic local dishes—such a wonderful experience! The entire ryokan was spotlessly clean and very quiet, making it a truly relaxing place to stay. When I visited, there weren’t many guests, which made it feel even more peaceful. One of the most memorable experiences was the kindness of the staff. It was snowing heavily that day, and I missed my bus, which meant I had to wait another two hours. Out of nowhere, the ryokan staff messaged me to check on us, and when they heard about our situation, they offered to pick us up! When we finally arrived, being welcomed with a warm, delicious meal was the best feeling ever. The ryokan is actually very close to Hirano Beach, but unfortunately, due to the heavy snow, we didn’t get to visit. That just gives me another reason to come back! If I ever visit Yamanakako again, I will definitely stay here. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made us feel so at home. One of the elderly ladies even noticed that I was unsure how to eat a dish and helped feed me—it was such a heartwarming and adorable moment. ❤️
