The small garden was wonderful as was the delightful welcome we received. Right in the centre of Shimabara and close to all the sights. The town doesn’t appear on many of the tourist sites but is well worth seeking out as a more traditional Japanese town. We even managed to find a great little local place to eat and navigate the menu in Japanese! Fabulous stay, perfect little home and wished we could have stayed longer.

The lady at the breakfast reception was very nice and offered us coffee to take away. Nagasaki is such a nice place to chill out. Need to come again!!

It also has a coin launderette, a restaurant offering a buffet breakfast and an internet station available in the lobby for free. English speaking staff can be found at the front desk. Great place at a good price. I highly recommend this chain as they are really customer friendly.

FAV LUX Nagasaki offers a hot tub. My husband and I loved this hotel. The modern Japanese design of the hotel is lovely. Staff is kind. We also loved the (coffee)bar and terrace at ground level. They have delicious snacks, and we really liked to relax at the terrace after a day in the city. Try the drink: peachade from the bar, it's so tasteful. Room was clean. There are supermarkets nearby. You can park your car a few metres down the road for like 12€ a day.
