Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lounge. Spending time in this place was so amazing and comfortable. We rented the yukatas with my friend, so we felt like we were in some historical movie. The onsen was so private and cozy. It was one of the best places we've been in Japan. Also, there was a yummy place with the grilled meat near the hostel.

Having now done the hike between Magome and Tsumago I would definitely recommend staying in Magome (which seemed to be the less popular choice when I was researching.) Tsumago was so charming but seemed much much sleepier - Magome is already very quiet and quaint with lots of charm. Restos/ cafes and shops in Tsumago seemed to close early or if they had sold out leaving you less options in the way of food or snacks. Not a deal breaker but just something to consider. Not sure if this was to do with the time of year - we were there in early March - but Magome was hardly bustling in comparison. Sakanomichi was lovely, beautifully finished with comfortable amenities, gloriously warm showers after a cold days hike! Ken and Yuki thank you for everything! Also, definitely pop to Hill Billy Coffee in Magome if you have time, its well worth the stop in! Delicious coffee!

The room was big, comfortable, we booked the speedway view since in the summer you don’t see Mount Fuji and it’s was pretty amazing, you can see the cars practice and race! My boyfriend loved it and the museum is very nice too. Very nice staff too :)
