I love everything about Alpan Apartments. The location was amazing, facing both the snow mountains and the sea, spacious terrace to see the northern lights. I also enjoyed walking by the sea, eventho it was windy, the view was worth it. The unit was spotless clean and cozy and warm. It is also close to the supermarket. The best part is the owner, Aksel and Natalie, they are so nice, friendly and helpful. Communicate with them so easy and fast response, they will ensure your stay to be enjoyable. They also showed me the best part to see the northern lights (in the terrace was also already amazing) and good hike. Thank you for hosting me, I really enjoyed my stay here, and also for the sauna. If you stay here, try the sauna, so relaxing!

At the hotel, rooms are equipped with a balcony with a sea view. Rooms include a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower, while certain rooms have a kitchenette. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Loved the jacuzzi and the common areas. Very easy to check in and well cleaned rooms and areas.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 7.2 km from The Rock art of Alta. They have 4 lovely cabins next to each other with beautiful nature views. The very comfy bed is surrounded by glas windows and a glas roof and we were able to see the northern lights at night from the bed as we were staying here in December. The cabin itself had a kitchen with everything you need to cook, but the local pizza place will also deliver food, if you can't be bothered. We did book also a 3 hour horse carridge ride with dinner included which the lodge offers on their website. You can even book it online. We can highly recommend a stay here and also the sledge ride. Oh, and the jacuzzi on the terrace is super romantic!

Featuring mountain views, North Experience Basecamp in Melen features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We stayed one night in the glass igloo, and even though the weather wasn't great, we had a great time. The igloo was small, as expected, but very warm and modern. The person who greeted us was very friendly and helpful.

The guest house features some units with quiet street views, and each unit is fitted with a shared bathroom. At the guest house, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. Sauna & Jacuzzi open 24 hours, what more do you want? :D The rooms are really big, but the bathrooms are shared (wasn't a problem for us). Breakfast was ok, almost no vegan options, but the owner bought an extra oat milk for us upon request through Booking (we brought our own muesli and nuts - there was only cornflakes, peppers and cucumber for us). Overall, it was a wonderful stay and the family who own this place are one of the most amazing people in the world. :D

At Norwegian Wild guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. We truly can't recommend Norwegian Wild enough. When we first booked our trip, we were torn between staying in the North part of the island, where the scenic route is, but after talking to Hege we were fully convinced to stay in Norwegian Wild and experience nature at its fullest. Everything about this place is just magical! We saw the northern lights multiple nights in a row, from the comfort of our cabin, and it was stunning. When it snowed, we felt like we were inside a snow globe! We loved loved loved our cabin, and also really enjoyed the jacuzzi. We had delicious breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant, the reindeer stew was 10/10! The staff was so friendly and helpful, we got to play with the husky from one of the girls working at the restaurant and it was super nice. We went kayaking with Tim, we went snowshoeing in the Ånderdalen National Park, we went sledding with Senja Husky - we did lots of very nice activities. What a wonderful , unforgettable trip! Thank you Hege, Tim and the Norwegian Wild crew for making it even more special!
