The spa is definitely a bonus for the stay, kids love it and it obviously increase the better experience. Annelle always give you a satisfactory and prompt respose when you have questions.

Set in Takaka in the Tasman region, Alpacas Off Grid - House Truck offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. The property features mountain and garden views. Outdoor seating is also available at the campground. Nat was a great host! Very welcoming, helping us navigate the property. She gave us all the instructions needed to have an excellent stay, and even let us help train the alpacas in the morning. The location was private and peaceful at night. It was like we were alone under the stars. We will never forget our time at Nat’s house truck.

We loved everything about our stay, especially though getting to interact with the alpaca’s, especially baby Bobo who was cuter than cute. May was great host, cabin was cozy, breakfasts were delicious. Staying here was a highlight of our trip.

Golden Caves - Bed and Breakfast in Takaka provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and wellness centre and a garden. Built in 1996, the property includes sauna and hot tub. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The breakfast was included and home made. The rooms were clean and the use of the sauna each night was brilliant. The location was close enough to most things in the Abel tasman.

The lodge offers a hot tub. Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.
