We had a huge apartment with terrace on the 3rd floor for 4 nights. Everything seems new. Parking was near the front door. The apartment is a very short walk to the train station and a number of good restaurants and the village’s store. We did breakfast in, ate picnic lunches on the trails, and enjoyed the restaurants for dinner. If you plan to self-cater (more than breakfast) shop in a bigger town. We had towel and trash service daily when we wanted it. Bed was large and very comfortable. Tons of closet space.

Many families with the small kids and toddlers, hotel is a family hotel indeed. Drive carefully, roads via mountains can be tricky.

The room had everything we needed: cosy dining area, equiped with kitchenette, big bathroom, comfy beds. And most important for us - they allow dogs!

Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. The ski slopes are 200 metres away. The wellness area was truly outstanding—one of the best I’ve ever seen, offering a perfect place to relax. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was also impressive, with a great variety of delicious and plentiful options.

All of the en-suite rooms are equipped with satellite TV and the bathrooms have showers and toiletries. Free WiFi is available in public areas of the hotel. The price comfort ratio is unbeatable. It offerrs free parking(not common around here.. and mostly you get ripped off) - delicious dinner and breakfast buffets and a decent spa. I will stay here again!
