This was honestly, one of the only times where I've stayed at a hotel and the room looked EXACTLY as it's shown in the photos-- Every other time you can tell the photos have been strategically taken, but not here! The location is great, the room was exceptional; the view was stunning, it's wonderfully quiet, the pool is beautiful and all the staff were incredibly helpful.

Boasting garden views, Hoomaikai Blessings features accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Lava Tree State Park. A hot tub is available for guests. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The host and owner Kelly is a very hospitable and friendly person. Possibility to late check in. Snacks, drinks, and cosmetics for everyday use Good breakfast prepared by Kelly.

Kehena Mauka Nui Club LGBTQIA+ Clothing Optional features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 400 metres of Kehena Black Sand Beach and 21 km of Lava Tree State Park. The property has garden views and is 24 km from Lava Tree State Monument and 45 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and full-day security for guests. Our host Houston was super friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the local area. A very special place to stay - close to the beach, very remote, sleep with the sound of nature and a lovely hot tub to boot.

Great facilities - soft towels, all the snorkelling and beach care provided and Troy was extremely helpful. Good coffee and chocolate also provided. We didn’t use the spa pool but it looked great

Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.
