This is a VERY VERY old structure without the conveniences...
This is a VERY VERY old structure without the conveniences of elevators within the fortress. If you cannot navigate stairs ( there are a lot) then reconsider the experience-although the panorama is breathtaking.Guest review bybobbigalUnited States - 10
Take the time to fully go through this fantastic place.
Take the time to fully go through this fantastic place. Several museums to wander through which are great and really interesting. The Fortress itself is magnificent. Lots of little things for the kids to do as well. The first souvenirs shop we went into had a great little museum as well as interactive games for kids. The views over Salzburg are magnificent when you reach the top and go outside We spent over 3 hours ambling through the fort. When you catch the funicular train down there is the most beautiful cemetary to wander through and a lovely little church where you can light a candle.Guest review byjaneAustralia
