We had an amazing 2-night stay at Spicers Guesthouse! The restaurant was unbelievably good—we dined there twice and loved every dish. Our room was spacious with super comfortable beds, and the pool was perfect for hot days, with the jacuzzi warm and relaxing for morning dips. The staff were lovely, and everything was spotless. Thank you for our hobeymoon welcome :)

Perfect location to spend the night before my wedding. Quiet and was able to rest properly. Clean and comfy. Was feeling at home. Also the location is very beautiful and we had amazing getting ready photos. Team was also supportive and responsive. Our questions or requests were responded quickly. Highly recommended!!

Enjoyed an excellent stay at Leogate. The staff were amazing and so friendly, they went above and beyond with their customer service and wine knowledge!! The restaurant was delicious for dinner and the rooms had very comfortable beds and a large TV to enjoy :)

We booked a two bedroom apt and it was great. Spacious and clean. We stayed on the second floor and we could see the golf course. Very pleasant to wake up to the sounds of birds chirping. The swimming pool was good and they had a whirl pool. We had a garage where we could park our car and it was safe.

    Absolutely LOVED wandering around the Gardens. Was a beautiful experience to be immersed in a variety of artfully created gardens - each one having their own feeling. Highly recommend visiting if you're a fan of nature and or gardens.

    We went in Nov - the Christmas Lights in the gardens at this time were spectacular? Well worht a night visit and if you buy a day pass you get a decent discount off the Christmas lights night tickets too. Staff are terrific and very helpful & friendly. All in all a worthwhile visit

    Great, quiet location, and easy to check in as we arrived quite late. There was also a note in our room detailing how the property was off-grid and used rainwater - so I like the commitment to sustainability. The place is also not too far from the main attractions like Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, the Hunter Valley Gardens, and surrounded by lots of nature and picturesque vineyards. Wish I could have stayed longer!

    The location was a highlight.Just a short drive to the Hunter Valley Gardens, local wineries & restaurants. The home is beautifully situated around the golf course and conveniently close to Nineteen Restaurant/Bistro, which made dining out easy and enjoyable. The fireplace was a lovely touch and added great ambiance, especially during the cooler months.

    The apartment was nice: large, clean, everything worked,. The location is in the centre of Pokolbin so it's within walking distance of a couple of wineries, the cheese factory, a few distilleries, the Hunter Valley Gardens and the Irish Pub, so there's no need for a designated driver, and everyone can join in the tasting fun. To compensate, it's a nice 2.5hr hike up from Tinklers wines at Pokolbin Mountains Rd to Mount Bright Lookout (watch out for snakes in the horse paddock).
