Better than I expected!
Better than I expected! People - HIRE A BIKE, not a segwey!! Soooo much cheaper and you can ride all the way around in 3 hours. We originally booked segweys but cancelled due to the exhorbitant cost and got bikes instead which ended up so much better because they're faster and more comfortable and you don't have to worry about how to ride it so you can concentrate fully on taking in the scenery. Also a mesh flyscreen hat!! Life saver for everywhere around here. We didn't need it for Uluru because we went in the am but definitely did for other places like Kata Tjuta later that day.

Overall the hotel was nice however not almost $500 a night nice. Maybe 3 star and $180 a night? I understand there’s a limited supply in Uluṟu so the hotels charge a ridiculous amount of money for very average rooms. The staff were friendly and the restaurant served really nice food. I also enjoyed the cocktails there. IGA is always a bonus

Stayed here for 1 night only so didn’t get a chance to explore the area string the hotel much but everything in the hotel was fine. Comfortable, clean & a haven from the flies outside! Also, it is very accessible since most tour buses/coaches do the Ayers Rock resort circuit for all Uluru tours. Staff are polite & attentive - the hotel has a restaurant and is close enough to walk to the small strip of souvenir shops.

The room was very spacious, the bathroom, too. The ceiling was high and it is a very decorative room. We loved the terrace with garden chairs and table to observe the birds in the morning hours with the red sand in front of us. It was a magic stay, very close to the Uluru and the Olgas. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind, we loved the choice of restaurants and can recommend the hotel's own restaurants. Actually, all people in Yulara were extremely friendly and helpful. We will never forget our stay there. Many thanks!

The rooms were actually quite nice and better than you might expect, large and tidy and with a good AC and shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent (although quite expensive) and we all enjoyed the pool. Getting into the main village was actually quite easy with the free shuttle bus. You definitely pay a premium price as there’s not a lot of options in Uluru but I’d say the Outback hotel is maybe the best value of all options.

Well, there's not much choice in Uluru for stays, but i'm impressed that this apartment is included a small supermarket. My friends and I managed to get grocery to do hotpot party at night! And it located near aiport! it's easier to reach, and they provided free shuttle between staying area and airport!

Uluru as a whole was so unique and we loved it! The Outback Hotel was in a great location and the AC worked great which we really needed (it was 107 degrees for all 3 nights of our stay!) They also had awesome shops, free educational workshops, and a free bus that ran every 20 minutes to take you to different places throughout Uluru. We would absolutely recommend the Outback Hotel if you are planning a trip to Uluru!
