The hotel is located in Rila mountains area, close to the Rila Monastery and the cave of St Ivan. Family who run the place are extremely pleasant people, every day started and ended with a smile. I enjoyed every moment spent there, felt right at home, and ate amazingly delicious and home-cooked food. Everything was communicated transparently and on-time, super helpful during my arrival. My room was clean and looked exactly as was shown in the photos, with everything necessary for one's travels. The experience of being there is only positive, I could go on and on. Nothing bad to say whatsoever, I hope I will have the opportunity to come back and stay here again, the area has such a peaceful and serene energy, it was a pleasure and blessing to stay at this hotel.

It was very clean everywhere, the staff was friendly, the views were breathtaking. There is spa in the neighboring hotel that was amazing and you can also use it - they give you towels is needed. 10/10 recommend during summer

    Perfect spot for visiting the Rila Monastery. Room was exactly as described, lots of storage for all our motorcycle gear. Balcony and the sound of the stream was lovely. Parking right is in front of the hotel. It's in the mountains about 5km from the Monastery. We had a meal at the restaurant and it was really enjoyable. The staff were great and attentive. Would definitely stay again.

    The room was basic but very clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the river. The restaurant was very good, especially the locally caught trout. There was plenty of parking and it was very well located for the Rila Monastery and various hikes. There is an (unmanned) information centre opposite the hotel which gives ideas for local hikes.

    Great location on the main road about 4 km from Rila Monastery. The room was clean and quiet with en-suite bath with hot shower, bed was comfortable, fast wifi, good a/c and free parking. The hotel also has a nice restaurant with good food. We recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Rila Monastery.

    The Breakfast was in large variety and tasteful as well as all food we had for lunches and dinners . I strongly recommend to the tourists who want to visit Rila Monastery to stop to the restaurant” Pri Mecho” and to enjoy very tasteful traditional Bulgarian food. Also I enjoyed the warm friendly behaviour of the owners Sisi and Asen.
