This is a great hotel in an Ideal location on King west. Lots of great places to eat close by. Pretty much everything is within walking distance. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had an early arrival to the city so we weren't able to check in right away. The staff kept our luggage safe while we explored the city for a few hours. Will definitely stay here again. We managed to get a decent deal because we booked quite far in advance. It was a win/win.

The most incredible, most breathtaking hotel we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and kindness—every single staff member was genuinely lovely, making us feel so valued and cared for. The hotel truly embodies the essence of hospitality at its finest. You’re not just a guest here; you’re embraced and looked after with such generosity that every interaction feels wrapped in genuine warmth. The hotel itself is a masterpiece—absolutely gorgeous in every way. The architecture is grand and palatial, the interiors are refined and elegant, and the attention to detail is simply impeccable. The fresh flower arrangements in the lobby were absolutely stunning and filled the space with beauty and warmth, brightening our days from the moment we stepped inside. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and completely silent—we didn’t hear a single sound from outside. The bed was large, exceptionally comfortable, and made for the best sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel. Everything about the room was designed for relaxation, with warm, dimmable lighting that created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Dining was another level. The restaurant and bar were fantastic, and the room service breakfast was delicious, generous, and reasonably priced. Even the smallest details elevated the experience—plush, luxurious robes (I still miss them), ultra-soft towels, and an aircon that was whisper-quiet yet kept us perfectly warm during one of the coldest times of the year in Toronto. A truly unforgettable moment was when the staff, despite their busy schedules, took the time to personally show us around the hotel’s event venues. The beauty of these spaces left us completely mesmerized—every detail, every design element was pure artistry. Hands down, the most extraordinary hospitality experience we’ve ever had. Every single second in this hotel felt special. The best days of our lives. Worth every single penny—and honestly, ten times more.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The staff were excellent. A special mention to the concierge Steven, he was so professional and helpful. So good at his job and just the person everyone needs to meet on their holiday especially when travelling abroad. Cannot forget Conor from Ireland, a lovely lad.

The rooms are plain yet stylish also offering a lot of space. I really enjoyed coming back there after a day's work. Also there are no waiting queues for check in or out, the personnel is professionnal and welcoming. The bar looks great (have not tested it). Breakfast was really nicely served and the restaurant is quiet. Location is the best right in the middle but in a small street so no noise. I highly recommend !

    View was great.

View was great. Just one note, if you are planning to take the subway to the CN tower you have quite the walk. Mind you, it is all indoors except for the last 300 meters. For an elderly person it is quite the trek.

Be sure to buy your tickets online, in advance of the event.

Be sure to buy your tickets online, in advance of the event. The ticket holders line is long and up top people will also be there too. It's in the center of town and it's a nice building, equal to 144 floors and you arrive in less than a minute (58 seconds) but it doesn't feel like it. A couple of us visited on a warm August day and it would be better at cooler and less crowded times of the year. I'm glad to see it.

Backpackers beware - there are no lockers and some strict rules to get in. It's understandable that they would restrict certain items, but not customer friendly to not offer storage (they offered me to throw my items away if I wanted to enter).

Always great to visit, but I find it's getting very expensive now. Again, a trip to the top and dinner in the rotating restaurant is a must for any Canadian, let alone visitors. The view is beyond compare. If you have a strong heart, hanging off the edge is something different. If you're an aviation buff, watching the Canadian International Air Show on Labour Day weekend, from the tower, is a whole new perspective on the skills of the performers. Can't look down on The Snowbirds from anywhere else!! I've done this three times, and it really is an experience! This place never gets old.

The views from the revolving restaurant are fabulous!

The views from the revolving restaurant are fabulous! I am gluten free, so had a limited menu me to be honest. Restaurant is very expensive with a minimum spend per person of around $75.00, do be prepared to spend a small fortune for dinner if you visit. Food was OK, I would not say it blew us away and we did not eat most of it due to our meal being far too rich for our palettes. Staff are fantastic!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riu Plaza Hotel. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was absolutely perfect — really top-notch. We were lucky to have an amazing view of the CN Tower, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel has an excellent location close to the Harbourfront and within a 30-minute walk with my dog to major Toronto attractions such as City Hall, Dundas Square, and the CN Tower. The area was peaceful at night, allowing for a comfortable sleep. The breakfast was delicious, and the server’s suggestion to mix orange juice and apple juice was surprisingly good I liked it so much that I still do it on other trips. Also, there are plenty of pet-friendly restaurants around the Harbourfront area, which was a big plus for travelers with dogs.

Great location, excellent view of the CN tower, and you can see the crowd in the Rogers Centre if they have the roof open. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Plenty of fridge space and a short walk to an excellent supermarket (Longos)

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-appointed—perfect for a comfortable stay in Toronto. Its location was ideal for exploring the city, with major attractions like the CN Tower and the Blue Jays stadium just a short walk away. Whether heading out for sightseeing or catching a game, everything felt conveniently close. It made getting around easy and enjoyable, especially for first-time visitors. A great base for discovering the best of downtown Vancouver.

I attended a conference at the Hotel and would highly recommend this venue for such events. Staying at the same property offered obvious advantages but it also came with unexpected pleasant surprises including an amazing view of the CN Tower and Lake Ontario as well as access to some great spots for a mind-clearing walk. The staff are.well above par and super efficient. Room service was a tad too dear for my liking as the added fees basically doubled the cost of most items but the quality never disappointed.

The location was fab, 10min walk to the CN Tower and everything interesting. Directions and access to location was very clear to both the apartment and separately to the parking (paid extra 40 dollar per night for). Owner is very forth coming with responses to queries. The cost fornthe apartment was quite high for what we got, but assume this was due to the Film Festival that was on as all hotels were high costed.too.
