Go at 1hr before sunset. Climb to the top. Great view looking down onto the old city if too hazy for the other hill or viewing points such as san Cristobal. Very secure with police walking around. The area below has a lot of good eateries, particularly Lastarria (villavicencio street). During the evening many talented buskers will entertain you on the street next to your tables. A lovely vibe. Security guards patrol this area during the evening. There is an artisan market near the Santa Lucia metro station opposite the hill. Some good stuff there.Guest review byJulieAustralia

The room also had a small kitchenette and a fridge, very useful for longer stays. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. It’s also really close to main attractions like the Bellavista neighborhood, the Santiago Funicular, and Santa Lucía Hill. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful.
