AustraliaAmazing hotel with incredible views over Tianmen Mountain in a lovely, traditional and quiet area. The breakfast was a mix of western and traditional Chinese breakfast which was both very tasty. They also cooked a nice dinner for us every evening.
The owners are really lovely, picked us up from the airport, drove us to Tianmen Mountain and even to a supermarket.
They also helped us organise our days and tickets to Tianmen mountain and the national park once we had arrived which was really helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

AustraliaThe staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The views of Tianmen mountain were incredible and it was a nice change of scenery after staying in the heart of Shanghai! We enjoyed breakfast and lunches cooked by the in house chef. The owners helped us with driving us to the cablecar as well and provided recommendations and travel advice for the area. I would definitely recommend staying here :)

I was up on the mountain in the winter ,3 days after heaven's door was closed ,so get there when the main attraction is open . I was the last tourist off the mountain ,but it was still fantastic ,everything was covered in ice and it was very foggy ,I still enjoyed the experience. It is easy accesible by cable car, the routes are clear and there are different things to see and to do, the temple, the gate and the glass walk. It's only an 8-minute walk from the hotel to the Forest Park.
