A real gem. The room was clean, smart and functional, but the downstairs rooms were quirky and full of unusual features and character. Lovely antiques, old books and records and a fully laid out poker room! Breakfast was good, though access to the food would be crowded if the hotel were full. We got a particularly good deal as it was a public holiday, but we would have paid more and still been satisfied.
