Located in the historical centre of Nürnberg and a few steps from Hauptbahnhof, this modern and cosy hotel offers all you need for a pleasant stay in the city. The room was elegant and very comfortable, with wide beds and all you could need during your stay. The staff was very close and friendly. The breakfast was wide and delicious offering dishes prepared at the moment.

Everything, beautiful hotel, would be nice to be there back again, localisation, atmosphere, silence, comfort, I was in 4 hotels during my journey, Karl August was the best one!

it is located in such a good location . walking distance to most attractions with the castle just next door . only had to take a bus to the rally documentary grounds but the bus stop is right in front of the hotel too. most importantly, the staff were all so friendly and warm and we feel so welcome there . the room is quiet even though it is located in town , and during winter it was nice and warm. attached picture is view from our room . highly recommended

I liked this hotel a lot. When I was booking it, I thought that it’s a design hotel like a lot of hotels around. But when I arrived I found myself in an absolutely magic place. Breakfast is amazing. Eggs, all sorts of meat, cheese. Vegetables, juices. Coffee, tea and a lot more. The bed is very comfortable. Each bed has THREE pillows. Big, smaller and the smallest. And it’s so convenient) We had a balcony in our room with a terrace😊 nice bonus for relaxed evenings)) You can take the drinks from the bar in the restaurant on the first floor ( there is a fridge there) and have rest on the terrace. What impressed me really a lot is CLEANING! I have never NEVER seen and had in my life this kind of cleaning. All my clothes were folded.so accurate and caring. The bathroom is always “like the new one”:)) I can recommend to stay in this hotel cento percento 100%. Thank you for being so cool)) next time I come I will stay in this hotel again and again!
