Their service was extraordinary Islam ... Yousef ... Hosam ... Salah ... Ali... they made me feel like part of the family and supported me with anything I needed. It's very safe, and they’re always attentive to you. My wife felt very comfortable and secure. Ubers could easily reach the location, which made transportation easy. They even let me wait in a separate room after check-out while I waited for my flight — at no extra cost — since there were still many hours until departure. The view of the pyramids is stunning; even from the bathroom window, I could see the Great Pyramid of Khufu in the background. Everything was clean and well-organized, and if you need anything, they’ll get it for you. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Without a doubt, I would stay with them again. Thank you for making us feel so warmly welcomed in Egypt — you’ll always have a place in my heart.

    You can enter from the southern or northern end of the market. Recommend entering from Al Muizz Street ONLY, otherwise you'll get lost in the myriad alleys. There's a lot of architecture to see along the street.

    I went here in 2008, it was really magical, the whole atmosphere was a vibe. Come 2023, I pushed my husband to go there because he loves checking out everything Egyptian. The place was so smelly, so dirty, some shops were closed and the old buildings were being renovated, so many scaffoldings. I could do with touts, it's normal and actually they were all very nice, not even pushy to sell which I appreciated. I wanted to take a video or photos but it was just too depressing and then I pushed my husband to leave that awful place. I wish tourism department would do something, I used to love going around and discovering their alleys.

    it's a unique market I have never seen you can find each and everything in this market but you need to bargain with them for up to 70%. The most important thing is just to avoid visiting there in the evening time it's too crowded.

    Visit the pyramids in early morning to escape the crowds, don't forget how overpriced everything is for tourists and lower the price. Head to downtown for some hustle and bustle, Khan al Khalili and Old Cairo for souk shopping and street food, Al Azhar park for the most magnificent sunset views over Cairo, Zamalek for some boutique shopping and lunch. City Stars for a shopping mall experience. Neighbourhood Korba in Heliopolis to taste the golden old times-observe the architecture and enjoy a shisha. Later enjoy an evening along the Nile, on a Corniche, head to one of the hotels' bars for a drink (look for rooftops) and go for a night of live music in Cairo Jazz Club.
