Stayed here to have easy access to the trailhead of Ruta del Cares (Picos de Europa). The hotel is about 15 mins drive to the trailhead. The beds were comfortable and the room is quite spacious. Surprisingly, their wifi was also very fast as I couldn't get any signal from my phone's network. The location is also very peaceful and calming, it's surrounded by Picos de Europa, and the hotel has a really nice garden. There are multiple parking spaces in front of the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant. The breakfast was very good - limited selection but more than enough for breakfast. Their dinner menu changed on the two nights we stayed and they offer a 3-course menu for only 25 Euros, it's very affordable and delicious. It's evident that the people who run this hotel love what they do and it shows very much when you stay here.

Everyone we met, from the woman who checked us in to the man who so nicely carried coffee up to our room from the restaurant, was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy we were there. The people at the restaurant next door were equally as friendly and very helpful with the menu. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and there was a lovely terrace overlooking a stream. Everything seemed like it had been recently updated and the shower was awesome (a marker of a decent place to stay in my opinion!). We would recommend staying here and would return!
