It was so expansive one could spend hours wandering about, resting on the winding bench, climbing up and down the stairs to the various levels, learning about the different homes and structures and why they were designed according to how Gaudi viewed his world. At the very least, it was magical!!!

AWFUL! Completely ruined by the tourist hoards. Very sad that I could not see what makes it beautiful (the Gaudi works). The staff was also terrible--asked for directions many times and was consistently sent in the WRONG direction. A few signs would go a long way!

Be sure to plan your visit to Parc Guell by studying the map, so you will be sure to see what you most want to see. We enjoyed walking the entire trail from the base to the top and back again before seeing the structures near the base, which is what we most wanted to see.

Too crowded, hard to get to and very hilly and poorly managed. It was hot and the few benches were in the sun. There are locked gates all over making touring the property hard. The gardens are very sad and have no flowers. You can do well just walking past the outside. At that point you have seen most of it. We did not go inside the private home as they charged separately for that. Not worth it!

The tiled salamander and houses are all at the entrance BUT you have to go through the entire park to enter into the area. It is ONE WAY once you reach the top seating balcony area overseeing the tiled homes and picture of the park. Lots of aqua ducts and there are a few seating and resting areas in the park for people to play ball. It's a regular park for locals to use for free, not tourists. You can spend as long as you want in the park but once you exit, that's it. The most photographed part is at the very end. Packed with tourists taking pictures. Be careful to buy online tickets from their site, not a third party!!! Check Park Güell.Barcelona

Disappointing and not of an international standard for a public park. Looks very rundown and appears that there isn’t a maintenance and improvement regime. Considering Gaudi proposed the estate as a public health location it is ironical that the public toilet facilities were disgusting- broken smelly urinals etc no toilet paper and cleaning services apparent. Would not recommend considering the cost of entry and travel to the location. Time better spent elsewhere.
