Room excellent, very spacious .Beds were especially comfortable. Bathroom L'Ocitaine products a great touch. Did not have breakfast in the hotel. Check-in fast efficient , staff superb, doormen exceptionally helpful.

Breakfast was amazing, room extremely comfortable i would say one of the most comfortable beds i have slept in at a hotel. Location was central walking distance from many of the sites and shopping close by. Great restaurants surrounding. Hotel restaurants were also very good.

The location is ideal for sight seeing and shopping. 2 minutes walk to Callao and Gran Via. Very close to Puerta del Sol too. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Cafe Varela downstairs highly recommended. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel and we will certainly return there on our next visit to Madrid. Room was very comfy and well equipped.

The rooms were amazing, we each had a room with a balcony overlooking the Plaza Mayor. Breakfast was fabulous, the location was perfect, in the centre of the city close to great restaurants and tourist attractions.

Temple of Debod

Found amongst Parque del Oeste’s thicket of conifer and cedar trees, these gardens hold a special surprise – a genuine Egyptian temple that dates back to 2,000 BC. Wait until sunset for a gorgeous backdrop, then roam around the Temple of Debod’s ancient doorways and imposing mausoleum, which were gifted to Spain in 1972.

    Get tickets online ahead of time or you won't be able to enter. The QR code doesn't seem to work. We wasted time going there and not be able to get in. Guards also not very helpful. They just tell you to get online tickets using the QR code which did not work, or come back another day.
