Location was spectacular. Views from our room were amazing. Bathroom was very well appointed. Beds comfortable and all ea s clean and thoughtful. Excellent pricing. Will come back for a longer stay.

We arrived late at night at Le Maxime. Auxerre was freezing and a soft cloud of icy vapour was lifting up from La Yonne river. Imagine how warm it felt when at the reception they told us we received a free upgrade to the Hotel's suite, with a balcony on the river! Breakfast was prime quality, too. Absolutely recommended.

We had a one night stay just to rest during a long roadtrip. We had a pleasant stay. The place is historical and has character. The front desk people were kind and helpful. Good breakfast.

Great accommodation in a nice quiet part of town. Spacious rooms with a zesty fresh smell that hits you as soon as you walk through the door. Only a 45 minute walk to the Buffalo Grill as well!
