The lovely French windows (which gave great views of the typical Lille street the hotel is based on) from the top floor room we were assigned. The fact that the property rewards sustainability (if you stay for two or more nights and forego having your sheets & towels changed you get a free 500 ml water bottle). The staff all spoke very good English. The bed mattress was comfortable and the noise from other rooms or the outside world is minimal. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - you can reach the old town by foot very easily and anything further afield means you can use the metro which is literally at your doorstep! Just superb hotel altogether!

Location excellent, booking in process quick. Reply to messages promptly the accommodation is all you need when your out and about in Lille and a place to rest your head, the staff lovely and friendly. Only a small breakfast room so we didn't have breakfast, continental I believe. Would hightly recommend Hotel Chagnot as an affordable hotel in an excellent location,very happy visitors.
