It’s very quiet with an idyllic setting. I was hopeful to see the deer mentioned in other reviews and was very lucky to see a family of deer, a mother and 3 babies. Amanda was very responsive when we did have queries and this was very gratefully received. We also took short drive to Amble and Bamburgh. The room was clean and cleaned both mornings of our stay with fresh towels if needed. The hotel is a pub but it was not noisy. The food both at breakfast and evening meal was waiter serviced and was delicious. Cannot fault this venue. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.
