The "three graces" have to be some of the most historic...

The "three graces" have to be some of the most historic buildings here. The most famous being the Royal Liver building, with its two fabled Liver birds on its domed roof. These are said to protect the city and sailors coming into port. Plenty to do at the pier head with various museums to visit and places to eat. Lots of areas for you to sit down, for a rest. It is a vast flat area of ground, so is pram, pushchair and wheel chair friendly. There are some nice views of the Mersey river and you can get the Mersey ferry from here.

You won’t be disappointed if it’s your 1st or 100 and first visit. Magnificent stunning world famous buildings. Lots to do and see either just adults or families in and around the area. Get the ferry (a bit expensive) and see the Pier Head in all its breathtaking glory whilst crossing the river.

Going To The Pier Head, La'?(In Scouse)

Going To The Pier Head, La'?(In Scouse) The Pier Head (properly, George's Pier Head) is a riverside location in the city centre of Liverpool, England. It was part of the former Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was inscribed in 2004, but revoked in 2021.[3][4] As well as a collection of landmark buildings, recreational open space, and a number of memorials, the Pier Head was (and for some traffic still is) the landing site for passenger ships travelling to and from the city.
