The location is exceptional. You are next to the big shopping centre, bars, restaurants. The view is fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. Good sausage, not the cheep stuff. Staff was very nice. And it was very cold outside, the hotel was toasty warm.

Gates open at 10.00 and you will need a full day to see the main exhibits. Don't miss the Mary Rose museum. The 45 minute boat your around the Naval boatyard is well worth a trip. Tickets valid for 12 months so will be back next year.

Really interesting naval history and lots to see.

Really interesting naval history and lots to see. If paying to see everything, I think you need two days. We didn't manage to do everything on our first visit, so returned for another day as the ticket allows this. If wanting to visit the submarine museum, visit at the weekend.
