It was stunningly beautiful.
It was stunningly beautiful. Unit #1 is a museum worth 20 minutes of your time. We liked the sedan chair from the 1800s, parked in its "garage" under the stairs. Once you have returned home, try to find a very good BBC detective drama called "McDonald & Dodds." It's filmed in Bath, and Scenic Bath is very nearly the main character of the program! Location gave us an opportunity to know Bath better as we were mostly walking and trying different routes. The best part was that the owners were always available to respond to any messages and the instructions were all clear. Not having a tv gave us bonding time as a family as we played board games. Convenient, secure parking on the premises, and Peter and Margarita were wonderful hosts. Royal Victoria Park is literally in the back, as well as the Royal Crescent. Breakfast was very nice too! Elgin Villa is a beautiful house in the middle of Victoria Park. This is a great location as you can walk in to the centre of Bath easily or catch a bus. You are very close to the Royal Crescent. My room was spacious with nice views over the garden and over the centre of Bath and surrounding hills.
