Location, environment, service are excellent. The hotel staff was very helpful and warmth. When I left my phone in a taxi, the staff did their best to help me find it. Special thanks to Mr. Andrei Morari, Mr. Darius and Mr. Basal. When I checked out, I found that I had left something in the safe box. The staff kept it carefully for me until I went to get back it. In a word, it was a great hotel and I will stay here again next time I am in London.

Loni at reception was fantastic! We arrived earlier than check-in time and she was able to find us a room, as it was my birthday and she was so kind. The rooms were beautiful, with a spacious shower and comfortable beds. The rooms were equipped with irons, hairdryers, and coffee and tea sets. It was a fantastic choice for my birthday and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was perfect too, within walking distance of Liverpool Street station and Brick Lane. I will definitely be coming back again!

We spent 7 nights at this charming hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent, bus lines and destinations are right next door. The service at the hotel is exceptional. I would especially like to mention Rashita, from whom we received exceptional service and treatment in the dining room. The service at the hotel in general is really excellent and the guest gets the feeling that he is welcome. In general, you feel that the issue of service at this hotel is extremely important and every request is answered quickly. The breakfast with table service is excellent, we also had dinner several times and it was very good. There is no doubt that on our next visit to London this will be a favorite hotel.

Tower of London

The Tower of London has hosted feast and folly for centuries. Founded by William the Conqueror in 1066, every tower has its own (often bloody) history. Lady Jane Grey, Colonel Blood, Henry VIII and some of his tragic wives were among its famous residents. Search for their ghostly spectres that allegedly haunt the grounds, or play it safe by viewing the 23,000 Crown Jewels.

Reserve in advance to save time. Plan a few hours to do this visit and get the tour with one of the Beefeaters in traditional dress, they are real serving soldiers and have great stories to tell. Well worth the entrance fee.

Be sure to join a free Yeoman ( Beefeater) trip Our guide was a mine of information and anecdotes about the chequered history of the tower. The Tower is a microcosm of English history _ gruesome and majestic in equal parts . You could easily spend four _ five hours there.

You can spend the whole day there. There is a lot to see and a lot of history to experience. It is impressive. Tip: you don't need to spend 5 pounds on the audio guide. It doesn't work well and visiting the Tower without a guide is amazing as well

Good to get there early as so much to see and can easily spend a whole day there. If you're into the gory bits, I'd visit the exhibit on torture early as tends to be a queue; the same applies to the Crown jewels. Interesting history of animals being kept here before they moved to London Zoo - good exhibition on in 2023.

Book tickets in advance- saves time and you get a 30 min slot. You will need quite a bit of time, and if you can- def listen to the Yeoman guides. They know so much. Mulled wine in the cafe is also very good!

The architecture and history there were amazing, but be prepared to walk a lot of hills and steps. We enjoyed seeing the crown jewels and were lucky there wasn't too much of a queue to get in to see them. We are older and a bit out of shape, so we found the steps and hills to be a little much for us so we did not see it all, but what we did see was very impressive.

The location was a five minute walk from Farringdon tube/train station and local (less than an hour) walk to all the main attractions we wanted to see (Tower of London, St. Pauls Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Nation Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and the theater district). Unit has a full kitchen and supplied coffee and Nespresso machine which was a great. The beds were comfortable.

Nice location near tower bridge/tower of London, close to multiple tube stations. Spacious showers, good ventilation in the dorms with lots of windows. Cool bar downstairs but too big and spread out so it doesn't have the friendlier social vibe you'll find at a smaller hostel.

There is a mixture of cultures and civilizations with more than 2,000 years of history blended... from the ruins of the Rroman City Londinium, the impresive Tower of London and the modern buildings all together. The best of all are the museums, some are free to visit, like the British Museum with a perfect collection of objects of different times and civilizations.

In this area of London, almost every step you take along the Thames river gives you a feeling for Charles Dickens characters, but you must go by foot get around the back streets and explore. Despite the new high rise buildings there are still many old houses and warehouses that evoke a sense of history. Within a 20/30 minute walk, you can get to Tower bridge, St Paul's Cathedral the modern Tait gallery, the London eye and the houses of Parliament. You won't get bored.
