I would have appreciated less detail and more displays shown in English so I could move on at my preferred pace. The view was great once you reached the top. The Tower is one of the main tourist attractions. It is a round building with a spiral staircase that winds through six floors. On each floor, there is a room in the center where you can learn more about the city and its history. Well worth the effort, you visit this very interesting museum as you walk up the six floors of the tower, however, it is a slow slope, so much easier than staircase steps. Each floor has a different story to tell, images and soundtracks, AWESOME. And the view from the top is a great reward, overlooking the bay and the city. The location is perfect, only 4-5 minutes on foot to White Tower. Sintrivani metro and bus stations are also nearby, so it has a good connection to both airport and bus stations. Surprisingly, the street is very peaceful and quiet, even though it's close to the city center. The best thing about the apartment is an enormous balcony, and it's perfect for a morning coffee and breakfast before heading off to explore Thessaloniki.
