Loved this castle.
Loved this castle. So much to learn about the history of Hungary here. Exhibitions of all the ages of occupation of this castle were very well presented in video etc. Great view of Eger from the castle aswell. It is situated in the middle of the downtown of Eger, next to the Eger Castle. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was alright. The personal was kind and helpful. The bedroom and living room/kitchen are big and the loft style includes some old original stones and bricks from which the house was built. The kitchen is equipped with all needed stuff. The hostess Esther was very welcoming. The apartment was spotless clean & nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy as well. There is a separate laundry with washing machine & dryer which came in very handy. There is a private parking inside the backyard but there is also plenty of parking just outside the apartment.
