The House of Tugu is a gallery of art, museum of history and boutique hotel all in one. A unique step back in time to Batavia in the Dutch East Indies, with luxury, elegance and style. The authentic Peranakan cuisine is superb and so is their own locally grown coffee. My suite was very tastefully furnished and super comfortable. I loved it. The 1 hour massage at their Spa was excellent AND excellent value for money I was excited to visit the House of Tugu and the Experience did not disappoint Now I want to visit all their other hotels!

The property is well maintained. Room was superb cleaned and linen were fresh and clean. All the staff were amazing from front office to restaurant to housekeeping. At the main entrance door Mr. MIFTAH is very professional and charming guy. Always greeting everyone with big smile and ready to help. He is your gem team member.
