The breakfast here is the best I’ve had anywhere—the food quality is excellent, and I’d return just for the breakfast alone. The room is also impressive. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Jakarta! I had heard about this hotel from friends and social media, but I didn’t expect it to have such a rich history to discover. The antiques were absolutely incredible, and I loved how they are showcased in every corner of the hotel. The staff were exceptional—extremely friendly and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was also amazing, featuring traditional Peranakan dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed. The room was my absolute favorite part. Initially, I expected a classic old-style setup, but it far exceeded my expectations. Every detail, from the amenities to the facilities, was new, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed. The hotel perfectly combines a luxurious stay with art and a touch of Batavia’s history. Last but not least, the hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the captivating heritage of the Kota Tua area, which is just a short walk away. It’s truly the best hotel in Jakarta, and I can’t wait to come back.

The staff were phenomenal—warm, classy, and so attentive. They welcomed us with drinks and a sweet cake, then surprised us with rose petals in our room. When I asked for an iron, they wouldn’t let me lift a finger and pressed our clothes themselves! The room was gorgeous, the food amazing, and the vibe perfect. The hotel is very nice and staff are hospitable. The room was quite big, as well as the bathroom. I liked the shampoo and conditioner. And that the room was always cold. The breakfast buffet menu is cool - lots of options to choose from. One of the best breakfast buffets I've tried around the world.
