Sitting beside the rice and listening to the cicadas and frogs is fantastic. The bungalows are new, very clean and nicely furnished with huge window from which you can literally watch the rice growing. Putu and his wife are such nice and friendly people; we did a wonderful hike with him to Batukaru temple. The lodges are in a beautiful natural place, near the scenic but not crowded Subak Piak Ricefields, and also near Batukaru temple (you can go to both by foot). The breakfast and dinner were delicious (thanks for the lak lak and dadar!). Dewi and her husband are adorable, they will take care of you (but without being intrusive), and they can organise activities like Trek, cooking class...
