Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff were so nice and helpful, the food was magnificent. The heated pool is so fun to swim in as the weather can be a bit chilly. The room is clean and well built, with an amazing view of the green mountains. The location is next to some beautiful waterfalls that one can be reached by foot. The best hotel we stayed in Bali (yet).

Exceptional! The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Our room was stunning. The staff are so nice and really good out of their way to make sure you have all you need. You can walk to beautiful waterfalls and no one else is there! Also, the food in the restaurant is really good.

Pondanu is not a hotel, it’s an experience! We really enjoyed our stay here. Setting by the lake, on the sun drenched and wind swept side of it. Almost unreal, one easily forgets here that one is in the tropics! All is perfect, lovely gimmicks in the rooms, electric blankets and towel racks, lighting that follows you while you are moving around, very nice. Outside of your room the experience only begins. A beautiful collection of real Vespas, antique golf clubs and other memorabilia nailed on walls, colorful and cozy interiors. The staff super attentive and progessional, foods and drinks are really nice and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the tenderloin steak! Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!

    This one charges 75,000 entry. Then when you get in, you will find you have entered a theme park where you can pay extra to feed fishes/ pay extra to have photo with animals/ pay extra to have photo in Instagram-able gates/ pay extra to use toilet/ visit one of many restaurants. But what you cannot do is actually see anything much of the temple. Many tours come up here and there was quite a crush of people trying for their “unique” instagram photos attempting to highligh themselves in an exotic location whilst hiding the crowds all around.
