We took the train from Dublin to Galway; the Imperial is 1 block from the train station. The front desk staff was awesome as was the restaurant staff, very attentive. The bell boys deserve a shout out, took our luggage up to the 2nd floor and back down when we checked out, they arrived withing 5 minutes of calling the front desk. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely workers, specially the Spanish ones Marta and Paula. I do feel at home thanks to them. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The place is close to everything around the city. I do definitely recommed this hotel!

We hit Galway during a spate of bad weather and probably can't give Eyre Square it's due. It is a very nice green space in the middle of downtown Galway. Try to go when it isn't pouring!

Don't bother, too many stall of crap, too many stalls of same same food. Had been hoping for proper artisan stalls, dint find any just stalls with rude stall holders. In fairness the Christmas ornament stall were fantastic, so lovely to deal with, but other than that the stall holders spoke to customers like they owned them a living. Very very disappointed. Last time I'll go. Would rather support my local small businesses.

HYDE is in a great location just next to Eyre Square. It has lots of lovely restaurants and pubs just outside the door. The food and cocktails in the hotel are fab though so you may not need to look any further for top quality food. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I have stayed here before and will 100% be back when in Galway again.

The location was great, just up the road from Eyre Square but still quite peaceful etc. The facilities were great. It had a proper gym and a nice spa area. The restaurants and bars in the hotel were nice. The staff were great in the hotel albeit I would say that the bar staff seemed quite new during our visit.

I had a great stay at this apartment , very clean and in a perfect location, less than a 10-minute walk to Eyre Square. The host was extremely friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

The area was very near the Eyre Square and the train station. The apartment was open and you can see for miles. We didn't have a car but I think they have parking for one car.

Nice apartment, suitable for two couples in an excellent location. Walk to restaurants, bars, Eyre Square, hop on hop off bus and everything else in Galway. Easy access and communication with host. Recommended.

This hostel is surprisingly good at what it does. It is modern, clean, well-organized, offers breakfast and has got an unbeatable location next to Eyre square. There's an office that sells tours and other entertainment to guests on premise. You can make use of the kitchen outside breakfast hours, and you can use the fridge/freezer.

The apartment might seem small, but really made up for it in comfort. Perfect location too, less than 10min walk from Eyre Square. Very clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. 5 star accommodation
