Our stay at Zehava’s Zimmer in Ein Gedi was truly special. The location is peaceful and breathtaking—surrounded by desert cliffs, close to the nature reserve and with views of the Dead Sea. What really stood out to us was the creativity and charm of the space. The room is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful antique pieces and artistic touches that give it a warm, unique character. You can really feel the care and personal touch that went into creating this space—it’s not just accommodation, it’s an experience. Zehava and her history herself were incredibly welcoming and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchenette was well equipped, and the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing in the quiet desert air. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something authentic, artistic, and peaceful in Ein Gedi. Thank you, Zehava, for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Ein Gedi beach is closed due to sink holes, the spa in the kibbutz has a dead sea pool, where they pump water up from the sea. Ein Bokek is a free beach and has showers to wash the salt off. The other beaches charge an entry fee kalia beach 28 shekels to park +. And 18 shekels each for entry, lots of coaches. But looked like good facilities. The beach next door wanted 80 shekels each for entry for the day. Mozeki bar near the israel border control post was great for views over the deadsea and reasonable price good food. The kibbutz has a pizza van onside and the kibbutz restaurant is lovely, but 220 shekels each to dine
