Hotels near Dudhsagar Falls, Bandoli

Nothing more could have been done for us, the staff were amazing. The hotel setting was tranquility itself. Set in beautiful well kept grounds, with a crystal clean pool . From local nature walks, to bird and tiger safaris. We loved every minute of our stay. A must is the white water rafting which was a highlight for us. Thank you to the activity manager who went out of his way to make our stay ultra special. He even managed for us to meet some local elephants.

Well worth the trip all the way from South Africa. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, eager to assist, excellent English. Room was simple, but extremely comfortable, with mod cons including quality aircon and fan, lots of plug points, clean, hot water, mosquito net. I'm a foodie -- food was exceptional, local Goan delights -- buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Barbecue on one evening was also good (I'm going to try pineapple on the braai at home). I would return just for the food (handsdown beats the food at the 5* Radisson Blu Cavelossim Beach hotel where I stayed the following nights). Activities were also fun; superb morning birding (including 3 species of hornbill), rain forest waterfall hike was fun, great sightings on the night "safari" (including Goan buffalo, palm civet, porcupines, flying squirrel, hares, nightjars), and night herping also fun and fascinating to see the little things (crabs, scorpions, bioluminescent fungi) -- would recommend, unless squeamish about snakes/spiders! Suggestions: My package just included room, breakfasts, morning birding walks, and afternoon plantation tour. I would recommend package with all activities and meals included. All excellent value for money. Highly highly recommend for birders, naturalists, foodies, or just people who want a quiet escape.

The setting is truly lovely – a plantation surrounded by forest, featuring comfortable huts and a communal dining space. The food, freshly prepared, is delightful, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They arranged for a great local guide (best guide ever!!!) who led us on an entertaining trek to nearby waterfalls, pointing out various animals. I also suggest taking the spice tour and leisurely walks around the farm to explore the beautiful forest and fruit trees.

Saurabh was a great host. The place was very nice and cosy and it was on our route from Goa to Bangalore so even more convenient. Would definitely recommend.

I am so glad I booked the stay with Woods Creek. It's total value for money. It's exactly like the pictures shown in the website. It was a serene experience amidst the lush green forest and also so safe n secure. Delicious food and extremely friendly staff. Among all the stays I have visited so far this is the best one. Best stay for family and off site working folks. Surely going to visit next with my entire family. Thank you Woods Creek for making my stay enjoyable 😊
