I had a very great experience at this hotel cum villa. The rooms were maintained and clean. we sat at the balcony and enjoyed the View of Dal Lake I would recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Houseboat Zaindari Palace is in a very good location quiet part of Dal Lake with a mountain view. The rooms are spacious and the washrooms are super clean. Management is also very helpful. The breakfast and dinner are tasty The staff are friendly, and give honest advice about tour/bus/travel itineraries and costs. I would definitely recommend this place:)

Ibrahim and his son Faizaan are wonderful trustworthy people. They helped me plan my entire stay in Kashmir, super helpful and really honest on price. They looked after me from the moment they met me and treated me like family. I even played cricket with his sons ! The trekking that they suggested in Naranag was unbelievable! Views of the Himalayas and the guide Aslam and his family who I stayed 2 nights with were wonderful people. If you are coming to Kashmir, wild rose in srinagar is where you want to stay.

It was my first time in kashmir . I stayed at houseboat Wild Rose and it was an wonderful experience location was awesome ,food was too too too delicious 😋. I came kashmir without planning and the host Mr faizan he is legend he book tour for me too quickly. thank you faizan for make my stay memorable. inshallah I will come back soon kashmir

    The tulip garden is in full bloom in april.

    The tulip garden is in full bloom in april. It is near dal lake next to botanical garden. almost a 800m walk to the entrance. Do able by most people. However, wheelchairs are available for Rs100 upto the entry gate as it is slightly uphill. There are food stalls/ souvenirs in the parking area. Nothing available to eat inside the park. Take water. The garden is worth it. It is something i would've visited twice if I had the time. There are benches for people to sit & enjoy the views. I did not notice 70+ varieties of tulips as I don't know much about the details. However, there were fields and fields of tulips ....absolutely out of this world experience. **also you can see all of the botanical garden when exiting.
