A Truly Unforgettable Stay at the Iconic Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai Having traveled to over 40 countries and experienced some of the world’s most beautiful hotels, I can confidently say that nothing compares to the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. It’s more than just a hotel—it’s a living, breathing piece of history and architecture that left me completely spellbound. “I also wanted to thank Preety, Amy and the staff at the SeaLounge” From the moment I walked through the doors, I was treated like royalty. The customer service was flawless, with staff who were not only professional but genuinely warm and attentive. Everything—from the check-in process to the smallest personal touches—was handled with care and grace. The location is unbeatable, with views of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea just steps away. My mornings began with an incredible breakfast spread offering a vast array of delicious options from across India and beyond. The culinary excellence was matched only by the service and presentation. What truly set this experience apart was the sense of history that envelops the hotel. A special thank you to Mr. Newton, the in-house historian, who spent two hours personally walking me through the rich legacy of the palace. Having worked there for over 44 years, his stories, insights, and passion brought the walls of the hotel to life. It was like walking through time, guided by someone who had lived it. I only stayed four days, and it wasn’t nearly enough. I didn’t want to leave. Next time, I’ll be staying longer—because the Taj isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a destination in itself. Thank you to everyone at the Taj Mahal Palace for creating memories I will cherish forever. I can’t wait to return.

Thank you Saloni and Taj for upgrading me to the Apollo room. The room was a great size, great facilities and super clean. The furniture is solid and a comfy king bed. All staff are attentive and dying to help. 2 usb ports. Rain shower was fantastic. TV technician was really helpful and answered all my questions. Breakfast at the Souk. Among the thoughtful touches, tap set at hot so you get instant hot water, phone cable tidy attached, hand soap block placed on it’s side on soap dish so it doesn’t lose integrity. Fast internet.

The stuffs are so friendly. They gave me such a nice hospitality. Even I left my big luggage until 6pm, and I felt so bad about leaving my belongings alone for many hours, they did not blame me. They told me it’s totally fine, and kindly welcomed me back! I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Mumbai.
