    Of all the hotels in India, I loved this one the most. Set among private villas, with beautiful landscaping, and walking distance to the 5 star Oberai Udaivilas resort on Lake Pichola, it has a rooftop lounge on the 4th floor but even better a open-air rooftop restaurant a floor above with beautiful views of the lake and city. Staff was very helpful and a very affordable and special jewel of a hotel.

    Beautiful. The hotel is on an amazing private oasis of flora and fauna next to Udaivillas in one of the best private grounds in Udaipur. The evening boat ride was the best on Lake Pichola. Overall service was the best and the team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

    Listing and pictures are accurate. The hostel is in a great location right on Lake Pichola and within a 10-15 minute walk to City Palace. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the view from the rooftop was amazing. We did not partake, but the hostel hosted daily social events that sounded like a lot of fun.

    Hotel Lake Pichola is a great experience overall. Full marks on location, food, staff behaviour, spacious room and bathroom, great rooftop arrangements in the evening.. Stayed 3 days and found it a very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend to all. A special mention to the flute artist who plays during morning hours, soul stirring 👍

    Awesome experience and beautiful ambience with royal touch at Hotel Baba Palace. I would like to share my views -Rooms are ventilated & spacious with a beautiful view. -Tourist spots are very near like Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Lake Pichola are opposite to the hotel. -Pure veg delicious & yummy food, RoofTop restaurant and also very hygienic. -All major attractions are nearby distance. -Staff was cooperative and made us feels welcome to the hotel.

    The property is aesthetically decorated. It gives a cozy yet tranquil vibe. The breakfast spread was not grand but manageable. The best part was if the terrace and the restaurant area which had beautifully done seating arrangements beside Lake Pichola. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Would love to book this hotel again in our next trip to Udaipur.

    This hotel has the best view of the Lake Pichola A highly recommended hotel for stay. All tourist attractions are at a walkable distance from this hotel. It's better to stay here and walk the city to have a great travel experience.

    Everything...!! Like from morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the beauty of Taj Lake Palace to Nights Surprise musical jamming supported by reflective lights of Lake pichola. If you are looking forward to having good times in udaipur 'Hostel Mantra' is the answer for that. Ashish, Vinit & Vikram are always there to help you with your requirements. Access to one of the ghat which is hardly 20 steps away from the hostel entrance is like Bonus. You just get their seat back & relax away from usual chaos.
