Great place for food lovers and bus 64 to/from termini just a short cheap journey. Just make sure you buy tkts before boarding and punch them on device at rear entrance. Expensive fines if you get caught not complying with simple rule!

My favorite square in the city.

My favorite square in the city. Although in recent years there have been fewer and fewer artisans and more and more crappy goods. But you can still find the most delicious dates (fruit) and cheese here.

my return visit to this market left me very disappointed. the Campo has lost its authenticity, with aggressive stall holders, and outrageous prices. Even the cafes around the edge have gotten greedy... give it a miss.

Was here in 2012 and it was a great place to sit and sip and experience the historical part of Rome. in 2024, it was more like a resort in Thailand with the local restaurants departing from their authentic roots. I was very disappointed when I ventured into this part of Rome.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this area. The morning market provided a great way to start the day, and was over and cleaned up by 3 p.m. In the evenings, the cafes came to life and street performers added to the lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for people-watching. I found the location to be excellent for walking to all the major attractions, and there were also impressive shops and restaurants nearby in the Trastevere area.

Lovely spot in Rome - taking a freshly juiced pomegranate from one of the stalls, admiring the fresh flowers and later stopping at the Drunken Ship for a drink after buying focaccia from the bakery across the road - yes, it’s allowed
