Go to the archaeology museum just next to the Duomo to evade crowds and see a fantastic collection of Etruscan pottery, frescoes, and other historical objects that put Orvieto into perspective. Make plans to see it day and night. The facade is amazing and sparkles in the afternoon sun as well as in the evening lights. Book your stay at the hotel to the left of the Duomo with a direct view to the quiet square. The place is magical.Guest review byYvesUnited States
