My favorite of all the museums.

My favorite of all the museums. The building from the outside is not appealing, but once inside the Palace I was lost in the beauty of the rooms and the displayed art and artifacts. There is a lot here and you could spend 2 days if you want to see all the museums and the beautiful gardens. Buy the multi-day pass here that covers multiple museums including the Uffizi.

You can easily spend a whole day here in the palace and gardens, (I spent 6 hours) if you enjoy art, so allow plenty of time. Also, only one place to buy food inside, so taking something to eat in the gardens with you is a good idea

I would recommend visiting the Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti) for its exquisite art collections and stunning Renaissance architecture. Once the residence of the Medici family, the palace houses several museums, including the Palatine Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art. Don't miss the beautiful Boboli Gardens behind the palace, which offer a peaceful escape with stunning views of Florence.

Wow such an amazing place to visit, probably better in the cooler climate to visit the vast and incredible gardens. You can easily spend the whole day here visiting the palace and the gardens. Go early in the morning or even the day before to book your ticket.

Location to Pitti Palace and Old town. The rooftop bar and breakfast area across the street is special and looks down on the Pitti Palace side yard and across to the Duomo. Very cool place to watch the sunrise or sunset.

Large and clean. Very central location, near the Vechio bridge and Pitti Palace. The apartment is on the top, 4th floor and has no elevator. It wasn't an issue for me but could be for some.

Wonderful apartment with fun decor and awesome view over the Florentine rooftops and a bit of the Pitti palace. Very clean! There is no elevator in the building, which wasn't an issue for me, but something to be aware of, since it's on the 4th floor. The host is very nice and accommodating!

    - charming and quaint 3 star gem - attentive and kind staff - steps from the Duomo so you can sleep in and still get ahead of many of the crowds - short walk to Piazza della Signoria, Pitti Palace, Piazzale Michelangelo, a delicious meal (or two), and train station - free gelato, refreshments, and communal balcony

This boutique property is amazing. We were surrounded in our room by 15th century frescos yet it was filled with all the modern conveniences. The property is perfectly situated across from Pitti Palace and just a short walk to Ponte Vecchio. But the real charms are the artisan shops off the beaten path behind the property and elsewhere in Florence. We truly enjoyed our visit and expect to be back soon.

The staff at hotel where we had particularly friendly and helpful Italian style. Apartment was very close to Ponte VECCHIO between piazza del signoria and pitti palace. Extraordinary!

The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I liked being in an older building that felt like it had some history! Great location—we walked to the Duomo, we explored the Pitti Palace, and there were lots of great restaurants within a 5-minute walk.
