Prato della Valle
Shaped more like a massive ellipse than a square, it’s easy to see that Prato della Valle was built on the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre. The grassy island in the centre provides a much-beloved green space for Paduans and visitors alike, and on Saturdays there is a lovely market. On any day of the week, the park makes for a wonderful afternoon of relaxing.

It is located in the center of Padua, just a 10-minute walk from Prato della Valle Square and a 15-minute walk from the train station (if you want to visit Venice, which is half an hour away by train) Extremely pleasant and hospitable hosts! A welcome drink and sweets for the children awaited us :) If we travel to Padua again, we will definitely stay in this wonderful accommodation again! Very close to a tram stop if you need to get to the train station. Its a perfect location from which to explore Padua. The continental breakfast on offer was comprehensive too.
