A must see attraction when visiting Venice.

A must see attraction when visiting Venice. If you are eating or drinking, it's best to go through the ally ways and two rows back, approx 100 yards. The prices can be 50% less and it only takes a minute to get back to the views.

If you are sitting at Florian or other high end cafe sit under the awing to avoid aggressive seagulls from snatching your food off the table like a scene out of Hitchcock's The Birds. Hordes of narcissists from every country in the world posing in the exact same way for their Instagram feeds cluttering the Piazza.

What a marvel...but...don't even think of eating/getting coffee here unless you understand: coffee is c. 10Euro...but walk thru, peak in the windows, stroll around listening to the music, feel the ambiance and then hit the narrow walkways for real food (read reviews...touristy places can have awful food...there are plenty of great restaurants if you search)

Go early in the morning, or in the evening, to avoid tourist overcrowding. Learn when the two high tides are. Book St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace and tours for early admission, and do so well in advance of your trip.

Stunning! We walked into our room (the Royal Suite) and my wife had tears in her eyes the room was so beautiful. From the tile to the giant murano-glass chandelier, everything was exquisitely appointed (the shower & tub were wnderful). We had a lovely canal view, and the hotel is in an outstanding location, close to Piazza San Marco, but far enough away that you can dodge the crowds. Service was outstanding and friendly, breakfast was delicious, as were the drinks we had on the hotel's canalside terrace. Highly recommended.

It was a real pleasure to stay in a palazzo right on the canal. It was close to the train station and a 20 min walk from the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. The breakfast was very nice and the staff was friendly and willing to help.

The property’s location is fantastic. They are a short walk from the Piazza San Marco. More importantly, their staff is tremendous. We had an issue with our cruise line, as we were leaving Venice to go on a cruise down the Croatian coast. Laura, Barbara and the rest of the team made sure we got to the boat safely. They also made excellent recommendations about places to visit and the best restaurants at which to eat. We’ve been to five star hotels where the service was not nearly as good as this.

Andrea was the most helpful staff. He made sure to accommodate everything we needed. Very very good host. Will definitely recommend. Also there are gondoliers right outside the hotel that travel to Rialto. Our room had two windows overlooking the canals. Really close to Piazza San Marco. We also went out 1am to eat and many available places that late/early.

The location is excellent. It's 5 minutes from Piazza San Marco and the Vaporetto leaves us very close to the hotel. It's a quiet hotel with 24-hour reception. Breakfast is well served and the lady who attends to us is very kind. The reception staff are also very polite and helpful.

I enjoyed the location being less than a 10-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. Even though it's near the main areas, it's tucked away enough to escape the large crowds. As a solo traveler, their single room was perfect and had a fantastic view of Chiesa di Santa Maria del Giglio from my window. The hotel was very accommodating, and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again the next time I am in Venice.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights. We loved staying with Sara. She gave us very detailed instructions for check-in. She prepared an excellent breakfast, taking into account our dietary restrictions (my wife is vegetarian, so she got plant-based milk). The location is excellent, very close to Piazza San Marco and the Basilica and many other Venice attractions. The room was cozy and matched the description.

This apartment was a gem. Amazing location! It is spacious enough to comfortably fit 6 people in 3 bedrooms, and there is a common space with a large dining table. We also enjoyed the adorable balcony for morning cappuccini. I think the overview said it's a 6 minute walk to Piazza San Marco but it took us 2 minutes (make a couple of left turns from the apartment and cut through by the Boss store). The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. There is a grocery store nearby.
