Great home base for exploring Japanese countryside. New, modern facility, spacious, clean rooms, very helpful staff. Right off the highway exit ramp, in a quiet village, easy to find.

The staff was very warm and welcoming and prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. Our room was large and gave us plenty of space to spread out.

Great location and a fun atmosphere. We were arriving by bicycle, and because it was raining allowed us to check in very early, which was so helpful.

Exquisite food, beautiful lounge area with complimentary drinks, very spacious rooms and great beds.

We loved our stay at this private cottage with our family of 2 adults and 2 children, aged 4yo and 6yo. There was lots of space to spread out and all facilities to be fully self contained. The host, Mana, set up a play room upstairs with some toys that the kids loved playing with and the beds were really comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep nice and warm. We came to ski the local ski-jo's and the conditions didn't disappoint with lots of snow! The location is perfect for exploring the local hills. We ate at some restaurants in town, and also cooked some meals at the cottage. Mana has lot's of good recommendations. Our host went above and beyond on multiple occasions, it was very unexpected but appreciated. It was my wife's birthday when we were staying and she helped organise a birthday cake and other surprises which was appreciated. Unfortunately our 6yo daughter got sick at one stage and Mana helped to organise a visit to the hospital and translation for her medicines. We will be back one day hopefully!
