Hotels near Kakunodate Station, Senboku

Breakfast was a big spread with mostly local Japanese dishes. Location is about 15 mins away from Kakunodate Station. Frequent shuttle bus to/from the station was very helpful.

Personnel was super nice. The man doing the transit to and from the Kakunodate station was the sweetest person there is. The madam working at the restaurant was very kind and friendly. Amenities are great, the onsen open all night is a huge sell point and didn’t disappoint one bit. He fact that you can ask to transit to and from the station any day even when not leaving/arriving was really convenient. Overall super stay with super people in a really nice and quiet place. Just right next to Kakunodate Station. Easier to visit Mt Kamogatake and the gorge. Breakfast is a simple variety of Japanese and Western selections of croissants and coffees.

The location is the best for me! Not too far from Kakunodate Station, near laundry coin, near supermarket and around 10 minutes walk to samurai houses. It's clean and comfy. When I was there, no one beside me is using the bunk bed because Sakura season has passed so the tourist rush was no more. Still, it's a beautiful place and I'd like to come again! The host were responsive, helpful and nice. Thank you!

Location of the hotel. It is just next Kakunodate Station (10 foot steps). The hotel has coin laundry machine, microwave, vending machine and restaurant. Next to the hotel, there is a mart and souvenirs shops.

The guesthouse is a great place to stay in Kakunodate. The owner is very friendly, the dorm is spatious and clean. The location is in walking distance from the JR Kakunodate station. I would definitely stay again.
