Didn't expect that there would be coffee, tea, juice, wine and pastries at the lobby so it made waiting very comfortable. We were able to check in even if it was just 30 mins earlier. Pajamas were a nice touch.

Property is in the heart of Kyoto, although very new and modern they managed to capture the essence of old Kyoto in their design. We are in love with this hotel. If you want unwind from a long day, this is your home from home. The staff is exceptional, they cater to your every need. So thankful for their hospitality. Restaurant Curd serves amazing food and is a must when staying.

We love Mimaru for its family sized rooms. Ample beds and movement areas with a nice kitchenette. The hotel is safe as the main doors locks at night. We stayed in the deluxe japanese room which is 60m2, perfect for a family of 4 with grown up children
