Beautiful place. The moment you arrive at the hotel you feel a blanket of peace and tranquility coming over you. The staff provided amazing service and speaks well English to explain the necessary items + how to use the onsen. The room is spacious, clean, and has a beautiful view on the small river. Beautiful bathroom as well and the bed sleeps amazing! The highlight was the onsen, our first time to do this and we couldn’t pick a better location for this! The breakfast was world class!

    About a 10min walk from Karuizawa station but environment was nice and quiet. Had a small store selling vegetables next to Family mart (which is opposite the hotel). Hotel has a nice lounge to rest, to eat and read books. Room was catered for 3 person (2 persons had a double bed each, the 3rd person had a futon to sleep on). Beds were comfortable. Bathroom and toilet was separate, which was useful for the 3 of us.

    The hotel staff were very friendly and gave very good service. After check in they walked us to our room door. Also to get to the onsen they had their own monorail which was awesome. The room was spacious and had a nice view. The hotel also had a shuttle from Karuizawa Station which was convinient.

    For a 3 star hotel, room is of a good size, with sufficient space for luggage and to move around. Toilets are big. It has a good location, within a short walking distance of Karuizawa Station and also the Prince shopping outlets. Hotel reception staff were friendly and readily recommended local yakiniku restaurants to us.

    I recently stayed at APA Hotel Karuizawa and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is in a fantastic location, it is very near to Karuizawa station & Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza. The hotel’s amenities were well-maintained, and the room is clean. The beds were comfortable, and despite being a compact space, the room had everything needed for a short stay, including a well-equipped bathroom.

    The hosts are so nice and they picked us from karuizawa station to the hotel and sent us to the station after check-out. They also drove us to the hot spring nearby with bath towels provided. The homemade breakfast was amazing as well. We will stay there next time for sure.

    The hotel is in close proximity to the Karuizawa Prince Shopping Centre and the JR Karuizawa Station so getting around was a breeze, especially with the free shuttle service. The room is spacious and the bathroom is very well equipped with all necessary toiletries.

    Reasonable business hotel! The rooms are clean and bathroom is big enough. I needed a cheap accomodation for one night in Karuizawa, and it was very good. Breakfast is ok too. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Check-in was fast and efficient! I walked from Karuizawa station, 20-25min depending on your walking pace.

Rooms are decorated with simplicity theme. Bathtub is available in the room to enjoy a nice bath after the trip. TV can link to Youtube and play videos of your choice. Breakfast is ordered through menu and drinks are free flowing. There is a happy hour for alcoholic drinks at 9:15pm. Tea and coffee services almost throughout the day.
