Nice size room, comfortable bed, good size bathroom and shower. Place to hang out clothes. I really liked the humidifier in the room. View over the train station and shinkansen. Amazing breakfast buffet.

The hotel location is great due its proximity to Kyoto station where you can take the train to reach the points of interest. When we arrived with our camper bus we are very welcomed and got a parking lot right in front of the hotel as it can't go into the parking space with its 2m limitations. The receptionist are highly professional and all paper work was quickly done as our luggage was already brought to our room. The room is big and cosy and all facilities are at high standards. All room settings and orders can be made by an in-room-iPad and late hours a robot will serve to bring water or other supplies. It's a kind a fully digitalization I have not yet experienced to such extend. All personnel were extremely friendly and English spoke (most of them). The breakfast (we just choose two times the continental one in the Italian restaurant was great and here again you need to bring you device to order some of the food prepared by the chiefs. The selection there was mainly on egg benedict variation and I would liked to have more choices there. The buffet offered a good choice of what you like to have for your breakfast, so no complains here.

The courtyard at the entrance is very beautiful, check-in is very convenient, and amenities are available in the lobby on the first floor. The room is spacious with a large bed, and there is a small tatami. There are three cleaning modes to choose: regular mode, eco mode and no cleaning, which can be selected through the TV in the room every day. You can enjoy free afternoon tea and free alcohol in the evening. It takes only 5-8 mins to get to JR Kyoto station. so the transportation is convenient. All in all, it was an excellent experience and I would still choose this hotel if I come to Kyoto again next year.

    Small but well organized and well equipped apartment, 15 min walk to Kyoto Station. Bus stop just before the door, so very well located for visiting Kyoto. Tatami room if you like to feel a bit of Japan :).

    Fantastic location, just a short walk away from Kyoto Station and plenty of restaurants/izakayas around. Dormy Inn always delivers with the onsen and breakfast, both were great as expected. P.S. This is one of the few hotels in Japan I've stayed at that has a water dispenser available 24/7 at the lobby, which I appreciated!

    5 minutes from Kyoto station which is very convenient for travelling. The hotel itself is new, clean. The room is extremely comfortable for a short stay: you have tea/coffee, water refilled every day, traditional Japanese pajamas. Umbrellas are available. The staff is nice and welcoming, very helpful.
